Vocational rehabilitation is the restoration or increase of a person's ability to work, professional competence and ability to participate in the labor market through educational, social, psychological, rehabilitation and other means of influence. The purpose of vocational rehabilitation services is to develop or restore a person's ability to work, to increase the opportunities for work in order to find a person for employment. The need for vocational rehabilitation services is determined by the Disability and Working Capacity Assessment Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labor (hereinafter - NDNT). The need for vocational rehabilitation services is determined for persons who cannot work to acquire a new professional qualification or perform work requiring another professional qualification due to illness, health condition or disorders of the body's functions. The need for vocational rehabilitation services is determined when a person first applies to the NDNT for the determination of the level of working capacity or the person is sent to the NDNT by the Employment Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labor. The graphs reflect the main factors in determining the need for vocational rehabilitation services: vocational rehabilitation is determined when a person applies for the first time or repeatedly, gender, age, education.
