Riparian zones data include transition areas between terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems with distinct hydrological, soil and biotic conditions that are strongly influenced by flowing river water. Land cover and use are classified according to the biodiversity monitoring needs in an adapted buffer zone around major and medium-sized European rivers (Strahler level 3-8, obtained from the EU-Hydro dataset). The classes in the Riparian Zones dataset correspond to a nomenclature consisting of MAES ecosystem types (levels 1 to 4) and Corine land cover thematic classes (classes 80) with a minimum mapping unit of 0.5 ha and a minimum site width of 10 m. During the Copernicus program, the European Environment Agency coordinated the production of the Riparian Zones kit. Riparian zones data include transition areas between terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems with distinct hydrological, soil and biotic conditions that are strongly influenced by flowing river water. Green Linear Elements (GLE) data are ecologically significant structural elements of the landscape that are important for the study of biodiversity. GLE data consists of hedges and tree lines longer than 100m and up to 10m wide; individual areas of trees or shrubs, ranging from 500 m² to 0.5 ha. Data created with European Union funding. Urban Atlas data provide information on the land cover and land use in 2012 in the six largest cities of Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Alytus, Šiauliai, Klaipėda) and their surrounding territories. The technical specification of the data can be found here: https://land.copernicus.eu/user-corner/technical-library/urban-atlas-2012-mapping-guide-new. The Urban Atlas is based on statistical image classification and visual interpretation of very high resolution satellite images. The input data are: multispectral SPOT 5, SPOT 6 and Formosat-2 pan-sharpened photographs with resolutions of 2 and 2.5 m. The following Urban Atlas data are supplemented with attribute information on land use according to the EAGLE table: https://land.copernicus.eu/eagle/content-documentation-of-the-eagle-concept/manual/content-documentation-of-the- eagle-concept / b-thematic-content-and-definitions-of-eagle-model-elements / part-ii-land-use-attributes Data created with European Union funding. There is a lot of historical research on the Holocaust, but most often the general history of the Holocaust, the activities of the German security police and SD operational and special forces, Lithuanian co-ordination with the Nazis, attention to ghetto history, and a little less attention in the Holocaust province. To date, there has been no publication that not only reveals the massacres of Jews throughout the country, but also the geographical location, although some of the first ones are worth mentioning: two volumes of the Massacres in Lithuania (1941-1944) published in 1965 and 1973: and 1997 Joseph Levinson's Book of Pain. The publication collected photos of monuments from about 190 places, listed Lithuanian cities and towns where Jews lived, and indicated the places of their murder. 2010 The Vilnius Gaon State Jewish Museum and the Austrian Memorial Service Gedenkdienst initiated the project "Atlas of the Holocaust in Lithuania" for education, information dissemination and tourism. The atlas provides collected, structured and concentrated information on all mass murder sites in Lithuania. This type of detailed information, linked to each specific location, has not been available so far - data in various publications of a similar nature have been disaggregated or are still unpublished in the archives. The work made a significant contribution to revealing the course of the Holocaust in Lithuania, which will contribute to the objective illumination and evaluation of these events, the principled perception of the Holocaust in Lithuania. This is an important educational work for us, the employees of the Vilnius Gaon State Jewish Museum. You can purchase the publication "Atlas of the Holocaust in Lithuania" at the branches of the Vilnius Gaon State Jewish Museum: Naugarduko str. 10, Pamėnkalnio str. 12, Pylimo st. 4, Vilnius.

Data on noise provided by the National Center for Public Health in the areas defined in the Law on Noise Management - main road and railway sections and large cities (agglomerations with more than 100,000 inhabitants): Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai. Day and night maps of road, rail and air traffic noise contours are provided separately. For each mode of transport, two indicators are provided: Ldvn is the sum of daytime, evening and night-time noise irritation and Lnight is the night-time noise level indicator, which describes sleep disturbance. The values of the indicators are measured in decibels, as defined in Annex II of the EU Directive 2002/49 / EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise. Data are updated every five years.
