Review service - Struve geodetic arc points. The Struve Geodetic Arc is a strip of triangulation points stretching over 2,820 km, from Hammerfest in Norway to the Black Sea, crossing 10 states. The project was led by astronomer Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struve, the geodetic arc was created in 1816-1855 by making measurements, creating 258 triangulation triangles and 265 points. Since 2005 34 The sites representing the Struve Geodetic Arc have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and are marked with various objects - a borehole in a rock, an iron cross, a stone pyramid, an obelisk, etc. Other items are protected by local laws. There are 18 arc points in the territory of Lithuania, three of them are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Attribute information is provided: original and current names of the item, date of creation of the item, administrative unit, status, type of mark, condition of the mark. The preview service is based on OGC WMS. The service is created using Georeferenced Base Cadastre (GRPK) data and information. From 01.01.2018, the georeferenced basis cadastral data set is called the former GDR10LT spatial data set. GRPK is a state cadastre in which stable natural and anthropogenic objects of the earth's surface are registered. This spatial data set consists of spatial objects related to water bodies, land cover, transport network, engineering communications, geodetic points, altitudes, place names and so on. Additionally, each object has unique identifiers and life cycle information.
