The annual ambient air reports shall be submitted by economic operators to the Environmental Protection Agency through the information system "Integrated Computer System for Environmental Information Management" (AIVIKS), in accordance with the requirements of the Description of the Procedure for the Accounting and Reporting of Emissions of Pollutants into Ambient Air. These reports shall contain information on the quantities of pollutants emitted into ambient air, the types and quantities of fuels burned, and the emissions from the economic activity facilities operated under an integrated pollution prevention and control permit or an emissions permit.

Data provided on emissions of these pollutants; sulphur oxide (SOx), nitrogen oxide (NOx), non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMLOJ), ammonia (NH3), particulate matter (PM2,5); PM10, TSP, BC), carbon monoxide (CO), heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Se and Zn), persistent organic pollutants (dioxins and furans, benzo(a)pyrene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, indeno(1,2,3cd)pyrene, hexachlorobenzene, polychlorinated biphenyls). The sectors of the economy for which emissions are accounted for are energy, transport, agriculture, households, industry, waste. Accounting data is compiled in accordance with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2284 of the European Parliament and the Council and the Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (ICRC) and its Protocols.
