An analysis of the monitoring of emergency preparedness of health care institutions in 2020 is presented. Emergency preparedness management plans of 48 personal health care institutions were evaluated: 25 hospitals providing secondary and tertiary level inpatient services, 3 specialized medical nursing and supportive care hospitals, 2 specialized medical rehabilitation hospitals, 7 personal health care institutions providing primary personal health care services, 11 personal health care institutions with a personal health care license granting the right to provide ambulance services.

States Parties undertake to ensure the capacity provided for in Annex 1 to the World Health Organization (WHO) International Health Regulations (2005) (hereinafter referred to as the IHR) and to keep the WHO informed of the progress of the implementation of the IHR on an annual basis. In order to facilitate the implementation of the commitments, the WHO Secretariat shall provide States Parties annually with a tool for self-assessment of the IHR, which provides standardized information on the progress made in the implementation of the MDG.
