The following exogenous geological processes and phenomena are widespread in the territory of Lithuania: sea abrasion and reshaping of lakes and water reservoirs, erosion of rivers and ditches, planar erosion; suffusion; karst, swamping; landslides; relief reshaping, etc. Endogenous processes – earthquakes and current tectonic movements - are also recorded in Lithuania. The emergence and development of these processes affect the ecogeological conditions of the territories, endanger the stability of the territories and the structures in them, human economic activity and safety.
